Rava Kesari

Ingredients 


Rava one cup
Sugar one cup
ghee one cup
Elaichi powder one tea spoon
Cashew and kissmis
yellow food colour

Method


First take the pan and fry the cashew and kissmis in a little ghee
and keep it aside
add the rava to the ghee and fry it a little and
cook it well in water

after checking it
add the sugar and food colour and
start adding ghee till it leaves the pan without sticking and
now add the cashew and kissmis and elaichi powder and
remove it from the stove
but go on stirring it for some more time
till all the ghee is absorbed in the kesari

Pineapple Kesari


If you want pineapple kesari
all you have to do is add the pineapple essence
before taking it from the stove
no need for the yellow food colour
but a little pineapple colour can be added
It will have a different taste

Kesari can be made very easily for satsangh prasadams or fridays etc
